Siltech Columns

Siltech columns allow silver-bearing photochemistries of all types to be pumped under pressure for desilvering. Our columns can produce a discharge significantly below five parts silver per million and yield a high-grade, easily-refinable sludge. Constructed of rotomolded polyethylene, the fusion-welded cylinders have top mounted in/out fittings which are spin-welded in place to create a uni-body device capable of withstanding pressure without leaking. Steel wool reels of our own design—in conjunction with a very deep sludge cavity—virtually eliminate plugging, solution bypass and channeling.
