Job Posting: Customer Service Representative

Siltech Corporation, a Canadian owned Chemical company, is looking to hire immediately a full time, permanent Customer Service Representative for our Toronto facility.

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the CSR has primary responsibility for processing Sales Orders This position deals primarily with shipping to United States and Canada.

Duties include:

  1. Receiving orders from customers and providing product information.
  2. Recording purchase orders in accounting system and responding to customer inquiries.
  3. Verifying inventory levels in inventory control system and updating customers on delivery status.
  4. Interacting with sales, production and shipping departments to ensure product availability, timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

To qualify for this position, you must have 2-5 years’ experience in a related role, preferably in a Chemical Manufacturing environment.

Preferred candidates will have WHMIS training, excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.  Knowledge of Chempax, our accounting system, is an asset.
