Office Administrative Assistant – Mississauga

Siltech Corporation, a Canadian-owned Chemical company, is looking to hire immediately a full-time, permanent Office Administrative Assistant for our Mississauga facility.

Reporting to the Office Manager, the Office Administrative Assistant has primary responsibility for assisting various coordinators/departments in performing daily office duties.

Duties:

  1. Assisting Shipping Coordinator in preparing all shipping documents including Delivery Slips, Export Papers, Dangerous Goods, and shipping labels.
  2. Assisting Purchasing Coordinator with PO processing.
  3. Assisting with Inventory Control issues
  4. Assisting Office Manager with various daily duties and reporting

Preferred candidates will have Dangerous Goods and WHMIS training, knowledge of current national and international export regulations, Inventory/cycle count experience, excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently. Knowledge of Chempax, our accounting system, and SAP is an asset.
