Silicone additives have long been recognized as providing special properties to inks and coatings, including better slip, improved mar resistance, better levelling and foam control. Furthermore, because silicones are effective, even at very low concentrations, they are cost-effective, and thus widely used to optimize both product properties and processes. Siltech’s additives for the Paint, Inks and Coatings industry now offers the formulator a wide range of silicone products to eliminate manufacturing problems and to enhance the final product’s performance.
