At NYSCC Suppliers Day in May, Siltech introduced new products in several key areas.
The first product was Silube 316. This is a PEG-free W/O and W/S emulsifier that really struck a chored with the marketplace. But, not only because the resulting products have such an exceptional feel. This single neutral, emulsifier brings excellent feel to the emulsions as well as exceptional stability.
The Silquat J2-xB-PG series of four cationic, PEG-free W/O and W/S emulsifiers was also well received. This cationic charged silicone provides a unique feel to the final formulations as well as stability.
Silquat 4016, a synergistic blend of a silicone quat and organic quat is a highly cost-effective and extremely low irritation conditioner for skin and hair formulations. The end-users we talked to especially appreciated the combination of coat-effectiveness, safety and performance.
SilPlex J2-S-PG is a different approach to a highly effective and safe conditioning agent. The end-users liked that this charge complex is very compatible in anionic formulations.
Finally, the Silmer G-162 series of various Vinyl Dimethicone Cross Polymers give that exceptionally soft feel to skin care formulations that only ultrahigh molecular weight silicones can provide.
